A Helping Hand Senior Care Services LLC. is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health to provide Comprehensive Home Care Services. Those services may include:

• Services of a registered nurse and licensed practical nurse;
• Tasks delegated to unlicensed personnel by a registered nurse or assigned by a licensed health professional within the person’s scope of practice;
• Medication management services to include:
  • Medication Assistance: providing verbal or visual reminders to the individual to take regularly scheduled medication, which may include bringing the individual previously set up medication, medication in original containers, or liquid or food to accompany the medication;
  • Medication Set Up: staff arranging medication for later administration by the individual receiving services; or,
  • Medication Administration: providing full responsibility for all aspects of medication
• Providing verbal or visual reminders to the individual to perform regularly scheduled treatments and exercises;
• Assisting with dressing, grooming, bathing;
• Assistance with laundry, housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, or other household chores and services;
• Hands on assistance with mobility;
• Financial management, including assistance with individual accounts management and representative payee services;
• And, supervision as determined necessary by the individual, the individual’s legal representative, and the interdisciplinary team.

Complex or specialty health care services not listed above are not provided by A Helping Hand Senior Care Services personnel. Community providers will be accessed for any specialty health care needs as necessary.
